In America, we are in a place where the government kidnaps people with no repercussions. We are in a place where the government is not run correctly by the people we elected.
For example,
The United States Constitution
Article 1, Section 8
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.
There you go, where does the President get to do that? In times of war?
OH!
The United States Constitution
Article 1, Section 8
To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
Hmmmmm, If you let someone do something and then gloss it over then apparently kidnapping is ok in a war that isn't there with tariffs that the executive office can't levy.
Sad to say I'm American, I truly apologize for the xenophobic, easily manipulated person that is serving as a (cough) President of the United States.
Kidnapping is a crime.
